Education and Industry is an Essential Partnership

At UQ Earth Sciences, we are training the next generation of geologists, exploration geophysicists and environmental geoscientists to join the industry, academia and government-locally and globally. Our industry links help inform the development of our teaching program, and our students gain valuable work experience during their vacation work with various companies. Some of these experiences lead on to honours and doctoral research projects, in conjunction with industry partners. Our postgraduate coursework programs are also attractive further education options for people already working in industry who need to advance their knowledge in exploration geology.
